Have you noticed that gas prices have come down a little bit, not allot but just enough to notice? I know I'm not the only one, but I found a couple of gas stations with low prices that I frequented. And of course, I always assumed I'm the only one that goes there. So imagine my surprise when I pull up and see this sign. Hmmm, now I know I haven't used that much gas.

CHEATING WITH MY WIFE.

I got this article in an email and I thought it was kinda funny since I've been getting pressured to give up my sidekick for the blackberry since December. Even more interesting, this past weekend I was constantly reminded that "blackberry's rule" but I wont mention any names (coughing).

My husband is addicted to his BlackBerry. He uses it while he drives, while he watches TV, and, worst of all, while I'm talking. And believe me, he's no multitasker. The other morning I woke up thinking there was a mouse nibbling on something, but it was just my husband sending emails from bed. Funny, yes. Could I let it continue? No.
Not wanting to harm my husband's career (after all, that's what this thing is for), he and I came up with three ways to limit his CrackBerry addiction. Then we put each one to the test....

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.

Look at that face. This seems like yesterday. A bunch of us were over and my god son was sent off to bed. So while the adults were mingling I snuck him in the kitchen with me and we ate cornbread. It was much easier to do back then because Brent was so tiny and not as loud. I know, I know, but that's my little homie what can I say. I have probably mentioned my god kids before he has a sister too-I love those two like my own. But his dad reminded me that he started school this week. Seemed kinda quick, but Brent has been gone all summer-you'd think the kid was a rock star and he was on tour. Needless to say, he's getting so big and allot of times I forget that he hasn't even hit puberty yet because he's such a little man. I think I'm going through slight withdrawal though, I'm not ready for them to grow up.

I know you're trying to figure out where all this is coming from but I'm gradually trying to clean up all these boxes of cds and add them to my itunes library, which has been an ongoing process. I worked in radio for some years and I don't know if you remember this guy, Coo Coo Cal. I think he was from like Milwaukee or somewhere but he had that single, "My Projects", that was on Billboard for a few weeks. He was a real nice guy and humble, but where did he go?
